VW Log 4-Channel Logger

The VW-Log data logger is ideal for smaller applications. It was developed to provide a robust, economical, and easy to use method of monitoring up to four VW sensors.

Features

The VW-Log works with most vibrating wire transducers. It interrogates and records readings from one to four VW transducers. It also reads thermistors that are built into the transducers.

Connection of the transducers to the logger is by a simple external junction box on a flylead, thereby ensuring the logger remains waterproof to IP68 at all times. The internal battery pack is designed to last for over 8 years, monitoring at a rate of once every 15 minutes. The logger can store 64,000 readings with time and date in battery-backed memory.

The logger is programmed and interrogated using its integral Infra-red communications port which removes the need for on-site connections and the risk of port failure. Alternatively, a landline or GSM modem can be employed. A desktop, notebook or palm top computer is used to communicate with the logger, directly or remotely via a suitable modem. The instrument calibrations and initial readings are employed by the communication software to present the data in engineering units. Full logger programming, interrogation and data presentation is available using the comprehensive RADLOG for Windows TM software package.
